Commando Images 2
These pictures are good examples of how I might shoot my camera shots of the Elite Commandos I will use in my production.
I like this image due to the simple use of colours; white on black. I also like the way the three people are standing where it gives off a sense of authority like a group of elite specialists there to get the job done.
I like this image as it is relaxed with the sunset in the horizon and a ruined city.
The person is sat there, relaxed, looks like he/she isn't following any chain of command where it gives more of a lone-wolf feel and a better survivor element.
This shot is from 28 Weeks Later where it shows commandos approaching the target carefully with weapons drawn. This gives a sense of warning however it lacks the sense of style I wish to have in my work.
This is a shot of a playable character in the unreleased Resident Evil Game: Operation Raccoon City. This is Vector, an elite Umbrella Commando who specialises in CQB and melee conflict. I like this as it is stylish which is in my criteria of making a more stylish zombie horror/survival.
Cosplay of a classic Resident Evil character known as Hunk, who the character, Vector was influenced by and based on. I like this because of the high use of black and red which makes them seem more professional at their job.
Another shot from R.E: Operation Raccoon city, I like this shot because it shows two commandos looking mysterious with one in the front and another in the background which gives a fear element to them; they look intimidating.
I found this shot interesting because of the heavy use of black and how the helmet and gasmask is the only thing visible on the image which gives off a sense of mystery.
